I keep blowing the fuses for the brake lights and the parking lights. can't find a short in the lights or their wiring harnesses (anywhere that is accessible anyway). i'm trying to determine if there is a control module that may be the cause
any thoughts

open your trunk and peel the carpet back on the trunk lid, unplug the black plug going to your neon tail light on the trunk lid, then replace the fuse again, fixed for now, then buy a ballast from glitch to fix the neon.

also the cruise deactivation switch can pop it when it goes. call ford and give them your vin see if the recall has been done, then see if it was done correctly. dig around on here theres a good tread on it

good job fordnut, but the key is to make sure it was installed correctly, since apparently when a makrviii rolls into the dealer for this recall they just throw the harness where ever and call it a day

Fire bad

I just installed a Gman mod in my trunk.
