EGR p0401 trouble shoot problem

keep getting the p0401 (insuffectent air flow EGR) code.
changed the Vacuum regulator, DPFE sensor and made sure the EGR valve is working. checked the hoses, all ok.

only thing i am worried about.. bought the new DPFE from autozone...

any ideas?

that is telling you that the DPFE is not seeing enough pressure difference between the two inputs.

So check the two little hoses coming off the DPFE - look for blockage or cracks.

Then check the EGR tube. inside the tube it gets smaller between the two taps for the DPFE - and often get clogged there.
