Dynolicious for iPhone/iPod touch/Blackerry Storm

So I was searching apps yesterday on my iphone and came accross a pockect dyno that looked pretty cool so I did some research and it actually seems to work just like the G-tech but a helluva lot cheaper. I bought it on the app store for 12 bucks. Here are some details about it if anyone is interested.

I haven't had time to use it yet but I should have some time over the weekend to play around with it. I bought a G-tech Proo SS for 300.00 2 years ago and I didn't like it much so I sold it on Ebay. It seemed to complicated for everyday use but this looks so easy a caveman could do it lol.

Sure, we at Road & Track make it our business to performance-test any enthusiast-worthy car that showes up on our doorstep. But suppose you want to generate these figures yourself? With the typical 401(k) looking more like a .401(k) these days, it doesn’t make sense to rush out and spend thousands on a Racelogic VBOX GPS-based system, the anodized blue beauty that we use to generate the acceleration and braking figures that appear in our Road Test Summary.

So here’s a sampling of less expensive alternatives, tested simultaneously aboard a Dodge Charger SRT8 and compared against our VBOX system in the nearby chart. Note that the numbers across the board are slower than our typical road-test times, as we made the runs two-up - with International Editor Sam Mitani riding shotgun and running the iPhone - and the traction control engaged for the sake of repeatability. Although we’re not getting rid of our VBOX any time soon, we came away impressed with the accuracy of these devices… well with the exception of Sweet Leilani.

So I tried it about an hour ago but I didn't have it set up correctly. I had my phone laying on it's back when it should be standing up. I think I also need to change the weight of my LS in the setup menu. Once I do a few more runs I think it might be a pretty cool and cheap tool to have. One cool thing about it is that you can upload your results to your computer. Here is my run I just did.

Lol ya just 77! I'll have more time to mess with it over the weekend. At least the graphs look good.
