Is there any way to remove the driveshaft and replace it with a new one (denny's) without draining the gas tank?

you dont have to drain the tank, just lower it with a floor jack and put a piece of plywood ontop of the jack to balance the tank. how full is the tank? if its real full drive it for a few more days then do it.

Undo the 4 ds bolts, undo the ds loop, undo the back two strap bolts and pull down and out. Somethimes I would undo the pass front strap bolt if it was being tough.

Tank is probably 3/4 full...

Problem is, The car is on jackstands right now waiting on some parts (rear air suspension problems) and I was thinkin that since the car is already up, might as well put the driveshaft in that I have for it. Can't really drive it, at the moment.

Just take out the diff bolts and it will sag so you can pull the drive shaft out the back of the car

I hate to say it, but it's easiest with the pumpkin removed... Sounds like it's time to put some gears in your car. :D

Take's two hours to remove and replace the pumpkin, Geno's way is similar to what I do. It will take longer to un-bolt the D/S then dropping the tank, shouldn't take more than an hour tops even with a full tank.
