drivers window question

the drivers window on my 95 will go down a couple of inches if you try to us the one touch down with the switch. some times it will go all of the way down on its own but most of the time i have to hit the button again. any ideas?

A guess but I would think it was the one touch module

Does it roll down as fast as the passenger window or is it slow? My first thought would be those nylon bushings in the window motor assy.

another thing to try is spray down the window channel with silicone sprat. the one touch module just looks for high resistance (window hits bottom of travel) so a slow window can kick it off too

they roll down at the same rate ill try to lube the window channel

I too think it's hitting a bad (dry) spot in the channel. It catches on it and the module thinks it needs to stop it.
