The driver's seat in my car just gave way, totally. I doubt it's reparable. I'm sure finding a replacement locally or in any short order is going to be tricky, let alone one specifically for a 1996 LSC. So, I was wondering what other years/models might be cross-compatible?

Also, for removal/re-installation, is it just 4 bolts and done? Is there nothing on the underside of the car to worry about falling loose, or to keep track of?

Lastly, if anyone near Central Florida has a possible replacement seat (exact match for the Saddle interior would be nice, but I'll take anything that fits) please e-mail me.

HEY LOOK ITS ISZI!

I have a pair of skins out of a 94 Saddle with the lincoln emblem in them. No tears or rips. I can sell you the set of fronts, rear seat and head rests for $100 plus shipping. Let me know. They are the skins out of my car from before I put black skins on.

And to replace the skin, you just need to unbolt the seat from the car, unhook the electronics, and remove the skin. You'll need the correct sockets/wrenches, a pair of dykes, and hog rings/hog ring pliers.

Thanks for the response, Dan. I'll keep the skins in mind. Right now, I really need the whole seat though.

OHH, you mean like the structure of the seat is messed up? I was thinking you had a torn cover or something.

Yeah, I've been keeping busy lately and kinda drifted away from the Mark VIII forums. Still, I'm thankful they're always here when I need to find parts/info.

I'm still looking for a seat, by the way.
