so i figured out the drive shaft is causing the shaking should i:
A. balance the 98 shaft
B. get a 93 shaft (if the still exists)
C. find a drive shaft from a similar car (cougar, t-bird, mustang??)

first are the paint marks lined up at the end of the shaft and the flange on the rear end? when i did my gears i didn't match them back up, it vibrated really bad. lined the paint marks back up, and the vibration is all but gone.

if you have the $,then get a denny's 4" If your planning on not doing 130mph+ then a balanced 93 one piece should be good

i had the gears put in, so not sure if there were any paint marks put on it

if someone else did your gears i'll bet they didnt mark the shaft before they took it out, now its off a half turn or whatever it may be off and is now out of balance, you should be able to look under the car, where the driveshaft bolts to the rear diff flange and see factory paint marks, if you can still see them on the flange and the ujoint and they arent lined up, unbolt the shaft and turn it until they are lined up and rebolt it.

check it then, just takes a minutes to do. there should be a purpleish pinkish paint on it. most people don't look at all.

they should be 12mm 12 point, a ratcheting wrench works best.

you could try "indexing" the shaft as over time the factory markings wear off.
mark the shaft where it is now, unbolt it from the diff and turn it a quarter turn and see if its any better/worse, and just keep trying and see if it goes away
