Drill/Slot rotors..

Does anybody know the difficulty level on installing Drilled/slotted rotors? Or how much would a shop charge??... Ive never had this problem of replacing rotors before on cars so Im absolutely clueless..
 
not hard at all.
- pull the wheels
- pull the calipers off - un-do the two bolts holding it on
- pull the caliper mounts off - un-do the two bolts holdin it on
- pull the rotors off - remove the to snap rings
- clean the rotor mount with a wire brush
- re-install

I'm having them installed tomorrow, I'll let you know, however, I'm doing all 4 wheels w/ the 13" drilled & slotted rotors & 4, 2 pistoned calipers..........
 
took me a saturday morning - I changed my pads as well (since I had them off anyway).

the hardest part was the caliper mount points - hard to reach (they point toward the car) and are hidden from view.
 
would you have to do anything w/ the brake lines? I want to take my calipers off to paint..
 
you don't have to - I just hang my calipers from a bent coat hanger from the springs - so they don't hang from the brake lines. If your doing it all yourself - and have the cash - you could upgrade the brakelines while your in there....
 
Just a word of caution, but be VERY careful using cross drilled rotors for every day use. They're very prone to cracking, even the properly drilled Baer Eradispeed's.
