DPFE sensor removal

On a Gen 1, does the EGR Valve and tube need to be removed to replace a bad DPFE Sensor?

the tubes need to be removed but the egr valve removal is not required...

Hell no.

Just need the hand and arm of a 6 year old Chinese girl.

Pull the Wiper motor assy.


EASY breezy after that.

2 9MM nuts to remove the sensor from the back of the head.

disconnect the electrical plug

Pull up on the sensor and the 2 hoses SHOULD slip off of the tubes. (has for me everytime.)

35 minute job for me.
