Hey everyone I'm hopefully will be rebuilding my front end this next week. Being that this is the first time that I have ever done one on a Mark or really any Ford product is there any hints, tips or suggestions for me to make it easier?

Spray all the bolts with PB blaster every night leading up to the day you work on it...a lot of those bolts will fight you if it hasn't been done in awhile.

Buy quality parts, don't buy cheap vatozone stuff, otherwise you will be doing it again in a few months. also torque everything down properly

actually thats a little dumb to say because the parts put on from the factory were TRW/MOOG and advance auto/ autozone sells the same parts! its not watch out where you buy the parts, its watch what parts you buy. you DO NOT want O.E brand chassis parts. even the parts from Arnott are good parts, same exact quality as TRW/MOOG. sorry danny not trying to sound like a dick!

Great idea... I'm sure this will be the first time it has even been done on my Mark.

Make sure you have a deep well socket (32mm in think) for your strut rods and a large breaker bar. Don't forget to get the sway bar links also. Jack both sides of the car up and put jack stands under the sub frames to get good access. Peel up the insulation on the underside of the fender and open up the access hole some (I used a sheet metal cutter on my air chisel) to get plenty off access for a socket and swivel for the upper control arm bolt.
