Got back early this afternoon from a cross-country adventure to pick up my new ride.....
A true 1996 Diamond Anniversary Edition Mark VIII
It was listed on the auction site and I was the high bidder. I flew out to Buffalo, New York to complete the purchase, then drove it home. Spent this afternoon giving the interior a good going-over.
It's got a few dings in the paint, but overall it's in excellent condition. The seller took excellent care of it in the time he owned it. It was a southern car until he acquired it in 2008, and he stored it during the Buffalo winters. He also replaced the alternator and battery with Motorcraft parts, put on new tires and installed a new air compressor.
