Hey guys I'm curious to know all the differences between the LS and LSE's.
I know the front bumpers and fogs are different. What else is there?

Dont be d!cks guys.... the E was for Economy.. It had a diesel engine

While some would argue, the original 1st Gen LSE was the best externally. They had a special body kit designed by some company that was into that sort of thing and included a lip spoiler. There were special interior combinations I believe and only certain interior colors. It was a given it had elements of the sport package. The most noticeable feature of the LSE is the "Round Fog Lights" and dual exhaust tips. The 2nd Gen LSE had a different type of kit but still with a lip spoiler. The side skirts weren't flared the same as the 1st Gen, it only had single exhaust tips , it differed relative to other 2nd Gens by having all red tail lights(no amber turn signals. Up front they still had round fog lights but they are spaced farther apart and are aligned with the low beams. During the 2nd Gen years, there was an LSE Appearance Package available. The rest is just badges and I think some special suspension tuning. Lots of guys on here have done conversions so I guarantee you I don't know what I'm talking about compared to them.

For the record, I have a 2006 which looks like the 2nd Gen LSE without the lip spoiler, the LSE badge, and with amber rear turn signals.

Wpd.....already own an LS or are you in the market for one?

Thank you very much for the info:Beer

I thought the "S" was for SEARCH.....

Thanks for you thought but I wouldn't waste my time.

wpd, lighten up bro.:) We always bust the "newbies" ballz. Its tradition.:) It weeds out the "thin skin members". We are just having a little fun with you. Welcome to LVC.:)

Why on earth would I waste my time searching thread after thread after thread and most likely still not coming up with the answer I'm looking for? When I can just simply ask a question and get an answer from someone who knows. You think this is my first time on a forum? You think I don't know how the search button works? I know exactly how much of a hassle they are to use sometimes.
So next time I post a thread asking a question just simply stay out of it, ok?

Cool thread, bro.

Welcome to the forum.

Try your best to get an 06. As previously stated, the newer the better.

The reason there is thread after thread is because people don't search!

With his attitude I can assure you you won't get much help!

I'm a member of 6 other forums so I've heard it all! Especially the "search button" comment and that's the only one that bugs me! Thanks for the welcome man:Beer Sick car BTW!
