Did the Coil Conversion today

Well I will be looking into new coils that will work with the strut as Jamie was stating he did to his. But time being, I was going to cut one coil to see what it does for stiffening. Like I said before, the thought process would think that a shorter coil should be stiffer. But out of all the threads I read, none compare the difference after doing it in the specifics of ride stability, Most that have done the coil conversion for the most part was because no money for replacement air parts and I guess did not matter with the difference as to just being able to drive their ride. But I would like to stay with the coil setup for performance and options to improve as even Jamie stated as to performance improvement. Stiffness is what I am after here, and lowering it a coil all around would in theory stiffen it. I guess after some more input, I may just do this.

Well I went back to my air bags today and took the coil conversion off. I did not care for the coil conversion at all after a few days. The car and its weight seem to be not too friendly with the coil setup in my opinion. The car rolls over to either side depending on which turn you take. And the bounce is more noticeable when going over speed bumps in parking lot. In my opinion, with a coil conversion, the stability is totally gone without the air bags.

At least I know now that a coil conversion is not a interest to me no more.
Thanks for the input.I just posted a question about this in Jaimie's suspension thread.

I may have to change my front struts and just may have to do the conversion just do to cost. But at least I got some feed back on it.

Well here is a daylight stance pic with the final conversion, sits nice and lower than stock.

Alright you all, I need some assistance, I read the threads and here they are.....so that you believe me when I say I searched;)

Now here is my issue I am having, I did exactly as these threads say and I disconnected the green wire, but pin 12 in mine is solid green on the gray connector. I hooked the battery back up and started it and I still get the warning air ride switch off. I am looking at those diagrams and I am thinking I need to disconnect the # 11 also for the switch, or am I to turn the switch on and leave it? Let me know as I have this apart now. Thanks

Never mind, I turned the switch back on and the message is gone. I just figured with the coil setup you all turned the switch off thinking the compressor would kick on with the air ride switch on. But apparently not. It is all good now.
