Man I hate doing them. So much crap to do them right. All new bearings, seals,FMS 3.55 gears and FMS 31 spline diff and a GM front yoke. Had to machine case to accept GTO braces.

Eric, it's not bad. Mag base dial indicator, press/bearing puller, lbin torque wrench and a case spreader (I made one). There are also some Rotunda pieces that help too that come up on Ebay from time to time.


Jesse, GTO owners have a kit to use the MN12/FN10 rear housing.

This mk8 rear is going into a 2005 GTO. They sell a kit that bolts arms and brackets to pumkin to install unit in GTO. Just axles and braces are 4000.
