sorry for the pics. i just have a cheap digital camera.

Looks pretty good! Glad I wetsanded my car.

Compare the reflection on the door in your last picture to this:

Now that took me a full week to do to my car. It's not normally a good idea to chase orange peel. Your's looks almost the best it can without wetsanding.

Again, nice job! I love to see fellow LS owners taking care of their vehicle.

Oh, and as far as Surf City, I really like a lot of their stuff.

Their Beyond Black Tire Pro is amazing. I like that it gives a look of just new tires, not greasy shine.

Their Road Trip Grime Destroyer and Beyond Steel Wheel Cleaner are great too.

yeah orange peel is pretty bad mostly on my doors. man i want your front bumper mine is destroyed. has like a thousand rock chips and a huge scrape where i hit an ashtray. :( well maybe with all my free time i will fix and paint it. and i thought about wetsanding my car but its paint has chips on the doors and the 2 back doors have scrapes so it would be a waste of time.

very nice, i need to wax mine one good last time before winter weather hits.

hard to tell from those pics..but did all of those spiderweb scratches come out with your process? Did you do that by hand or with a buffer? If so, which pad?

i.m pretty sure that was temporary filling, not paint correction.

doesn.t take away the fact that it looks good though. either filling or true paint correction requires maintenance.

Yea I have a can of NXT 2.0 Paste that I apply by hand every 2 weeks to keep the temp. paint correction lasting. Also it makes regular washing easy as hell. However I always love the look after a fresh layer of wax, so sometimes even after a simple wash I apply wax to the main body panels. And I do this all by hand. Usually have hand cramps the next day. But dam it looks good :D

Looks great man! Nice job on those pain in the ass pillars!

Besides the clay, what else did you use? Thats always helpful:D ;)

Im giving Dodo juice a stab soon.

You should. Dodo Juice is awesome stuff. I have quite a few of their products. I really like Supernatural Wax. My wooden container is signed by owners, and they hand wrote:
"especially prepared for Peter Olson" on there for me

Since I'm a pic whore:

Thats really cool man! I am thinking about getting a few of the different combos they offer. The family has been asking me to do some cars so I would like to try the color specifics and the rain forest.

How much was the supernatural straight from the owners? Im guessing you cant get that kind of respect from autogeek.net.

You are right about autogeek. You aren't going to get that from them.

I got mine from Justin at www.obsessivedetail.com

Way better prices than autogeek, and even the shipping will be cheaper since Justin uses USPS priority.

I was part of a group buy, where we all together bought 15 of the wooden pots. I emailed Dom (one of the owners of Dodo Juice) if they would autograph the containers for us after one of the guys mentioned it would be cool. I'm really glad they went for it.

If you want to try all the waxes, order the straight 8 test tube from www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk

While you're there, pick up Rubbish Boy's Original Edition. It is incredible. I honestly can't decide if I like RBOE or supernatural better, and RBOE is half the price. RBOE is also the wax you apply by hand. no applicator. this is what it looks like on the car while it's curing:

thanks for the comments guys. and all i used was beyond clay (which isnt really clay) and meguiars #26 high tech yellow wax. oh and pektel, what could i use as a better filler? it needs to be an otc product. will the megiars proffesional glaze work well or do you have another selection?

A filler heavy OTC product would maybe be Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze. It's part of MEguiar's Mirror Glaze Line. You can find it at OReilly's.

thats the glaze i was actually thinking about. thank you sir. also is there a ingredient or some sort of marking that lets me know what is filler heavy and what isnt?
