ok guys i realize that the gen1 grill is prolly the most sought after part for a Mark that there is...but id be willing to buy even a beat up one if i can get if for cheap. Someone please help me!!!
 
I don't think you'll find a used one without any bad cracks in it for less than $100.
 
lol, i guess i should put my mint spare one on ebay lol didnt realize how much this stuff is worth, i have 2 complete mark viii parts cars at my house....
 
most sought after??? really??? some one had three mint ones, but had to put one on their car that was missing a grille, now they have two :shifty:
 
wish i could show a pic.....smashed a concrete pole in a parking lot..sun in eyes.Didnt even see it till i bashed it at a couple miles an hour. It popped the bumper cover off,cracked the hood,and dented the bumper underneath.Im pulling it out with a come along...came within an inch of the airbag sensor.Bumper cover is salveagable and the hood can be repaired.Grille is in pieces.found the chrome piece above the grille but no luck so far on the grille itself.Will post pics .....my red lsc is ugly now...dont have funds for an expensive grille...i am sad..lol(still burns off the tires though,,,)
 
i will get pics of the one i have, i broke 2 of the bottom tabs while removing it but im almost certain i have them and can glue them back in place. im also almost certain its crack free, i run a zero tolerance policy on drug use, the chrome on the other hand i think is faded in a few spots.

dont worry bout the glue coming loose the one i have on my mark is glued together and its going on 1.5yrs...three cheers for crazy glue!!!
 
I just went to the junkyard here and bought a unbroken grill, both headlights, turn signals/w the chrome attached and the chrome trim that covers the headlights and grill all for a whopping 60.00. Thanks Cash 4 Clunkers!!!

Wanna bet?!?!? The car had no body damage,was 100% complete, 189,xxx miles the engine that was seized buy the toyota dealer that took it in on trade and it had "cash 4 clunkers trade in" wrote on the windshield in grease pen. This junkyard is getting 90% of the c4c trade in vehicals in Louisville, KY. Im pretty sure C4C had alot to do with that mark 8 being there, and the 2 others that are there also.
 
grilles

Im proud to announce that i will soon have 2 grilles.Bought one from deadmark online and found one today at a junkyard for 30 bucks! it has only one little spot where the chrome is scuffed.Also i found the woodgrain that goes around my radio as some retard broke mine stealing my radio!!!! Anyway now i all am missing is the trunk emblem and im finally complete!!! ...anybody got one?
