Is it worth to do or just a pain and how do I know if they don't open properly or not at all

If they don't operate properly, you should see a cel light on. If they are stuck open, the engine won't operate properly below 3200 rpm. IF they are stuck closed, the engine will feel sluggish above 3200 rpm.

I made the mistake of having the housing with the butterflys vatted.I'm sure that didnt do the O rings any good at all.Just putting that out there to you guys.
