dealerships are such ripoffs

Looks like it needs a good detailing, but that's not a bad dealership price.

Oh duh, I see what he means. The CL ad lists the price as 3995, but then you get to the actual car and the dealership wants almost a grand more than that.

Probably a typo. If the OP thinks that one is a ripoff, check out the one 10 min from me and probably rust free but obviously the air ride is shot in the front. Doesn't have Octi's on it. Has a little more miles on it than the one he has listed and it's not an LSC and the one he has listed is.

Also, the car is black on black. Not Grey. I have seen it in person.

I stopped and checked it out but I don't want a base and surely don't want to buy new front bags for this one too. I could probably walk away with the one I have shown for 40 $100 bills and maybe 35 of them once I show what I am paying now for new OEM front air bags.

For 32 and lsc I'll be all over it

It seems like the going rate for dealer 2nd gens is about $5000 for anything around 100k miles which I do believe is a rip off..this one needs paint on the front bumper at the least you can see the faded clear coat just from these crappy pictures..which means the rest of the paint is probably pretty thin and fading as well..if its a Midwest car with that many miles it was probably daily driven in the winters at some point which means rust...there are a few 2nd gens with over 100k on Chicago craigslist for just around $5000..unless its really clean i'd say no way to anything close to $4000 even.

for a dealer thats about right, hes probably at 7000 financing buy here/pay here though. the xtra price is the 'dealer fees' they charge. i answered a cash ad for a car i waslooking at was 3500 cash then tax, tag ,title, dealer fees, when i asked what that was it was bull:q:q:q:q, our comprehensive cheklist oil change, detailing was another 500, tax i was fine with i can get title and tag transfers for under $100 here they were $350 i mean you go to dmv on the wall all the fees are listed title transfer 65, tag transfer 35 yea they save you a trip but you can do it yourself online for the same price, its the old get them in the door routine. used car dealers all stereotype.
