Trying to ask this question from my phone at work. 02 ls v8 had air no heat changed dccv had heat no air. Is it the dccv? With the new one it blows hot as he'll out drivers side and cold on passenger side.

Could be DCCV. It could be that the electrical connector to the DCCV is damaged or not fully seated. It could also be the wiring, a temperature sensor, or the DATC. (I am assuming that you are getting heat when you don't want it. If this is not the case, most of what I said does not apply.)
