ok so the previous owner of my LS put one of those stick on with adhesive compass' on the dashboard. i ripped it off but like usual theres left over adhesive. what is a safe product to use on the dash board to remove this? goof off? oops? acetone??? jk i know acetones probably not a good idea

Gooooooo Goneeeeee. works great. it that doesnt work then you can use goof off, but this will harm your dash if you leave it for a second too long. use the goo gone (citrus cleaner)

and it wont ruin anything? thats my main concern of course

Goo Gone or any other citrus based product will be safe and wont cause damage. Also try Simple Green. That stuff works on everything.

Well atleast you know the car should have been well taken care of by the previous owner, only an old fart would put a stick on compass inside an LS. Whats up with old people using those little liquid floaty type compasses anyway. I mean, are they really using the compass to find their way around? Kinda scary.

hahaha that would be funny. anyways i used goof off and wiped most of it up and when i did it took the shiny finish off the dash. so i decided to get some armor all for the dash and now its back to its nice new look. just to let u know

You'll probably want to do a test to see how this stuff reacts before doing the real job. Test in an inconspicuous place, like the bottom of the dash.
