Custom Tune Question

It's a basic question. All you guys that have custom tunes what are you setting your WOT shift points at?

With the idiot proof tune in Sniper it seems the car shifts around 5800 or so at WOT. Maybe closer to 6000. Anyway its Somewhere in there.

I was thinking about bumping them up to around 6200 or so and just curious what everyone else was doing?
 
I am at 6800 Id like to lower it a little tho I think 6500 would probably be best. If you have a stock torque converter it will start to balloon after 6300.
 
I do have a stock and I think I have heard that 6300 thing before. I don't want to risk any damage to the car so I think that 6200 is sounding best to me.
 
Stop spending all the money on your mark. If your car ends up being faster than mine you know ill have to go N20 on ur ass. lol.

Lol, I havent spent much money on it in the past couple months. This is all stuff I bought before that im just now getting around too.

Once winter comes It's time for the intake :D
 
Mine shifts at 6000rpms to be safe, when I get the Circle D converter it will be more like 6800...
 
Since I didnt want to break anything and at the time I knew very little about my car I have the 1-2 set at 6500 and the tach indicates 6300. My 2-3 is set at 6400 and the tach shows 6200. My 3-4 is set at 6300 and seems to shift then.
Always wondered, is there any benifit to setting the TC to lock in third?
