Custom exhaust idea: SLP resonators...

I'm thinking about a future custom exhaust project this summer and so far I'm toying with the idea of using two SLP LoudMouth Resonators(http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-loudmouth-shotgun-resonators.html) with some aftermarket mufflers.

Has anyone else thought about the SLP LM resonators before on a 2001 LS!?!?
Also, does anyone know about the max diameter for fitting something this wide( 4.5 inches )!??!...I'm pretty sure SLP made/makes a 3 inch diameter resonator for the f-body/trans ams & camaros...but I could be wrong.

most everyone removes the resonators in favor of an x-pipe.

Look into AeroTurbine resonators. I have those on my car after the X and before the rear Bassani mufflers and they fit fine.

I was thinking of replacing my resonators with an X and adding those further down the car, right now I run the stock resonators and no mufflers and resonated tips, sounds pretty good to me and the SLP exhaust have always gotten my attention..
