No, there is only about 18 inches of that ribbed tubing with the angles I had to get around. The rest going all the way to the throttle body is 4" smooth piping. The 3" that fit through the stock hole under the air box choked the car at higher RPM's. I dremeled out the hole to fit 4" piping.

So are the intake kits from LSK 3" or 4"?


I could have swore they are 3".


Mind you I am talking of the first generation LS.

i didnt open it up any, there are some good size holes but i am gonna use the top of my stock filter box to funnel fresh air to the filter area with 4" tubing. i may cut the holes a little bigger then.
