Cost of blend door and heater core replacement

Well, the title kinda said it all. Shop is a L-M dealer. Hr's it should take??? How much are blend doors from max??? Thx in advance, its going in Monday, just smelt leak this am, slight leak onto pass floorboard, and door has been stuck a few weeks.

i believe the book calls for around 6 hours for the blend door, but then add in more time for a heater core because the dash doesnt have to come away from the fire wall as far to do the blend door and it will to do the heater core. just from others who have gotten robbed for the blend door repair at the dealer, i will guess around $1,200 in labor for both items, as for the parts the blend door is about 36 bucks and i cant see the heater core being much more than that also.

i saw you other thread asking max, and being a gen 2 its most likely the blend door actuator not the door itself, but yes lots of labor

the heat would only go to about 72 or so, no warmer. On the coldest days with any form of moisture I couldn't deforst the windshield.
