So I purchased a LSE grille from Maxx today :D I searched to see if there was any problems and I couldn't find a thread. I was curious to see if there were problems with corrosion or pitting with the lse grille for those of you who drive all year round and during winter months. I know I could prevent possible corrosion somewhat by changing grilles between the seasons, but thats kind of a pain to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't experienced any pitting on my regular grille, although not LSE, I'm asking the same question as I too purchased one and I'm awaiting its arrival.

Your preventative measure is a safe bet to help prevent it.

Wonder who's going to get theirs first. It just posted to my cc today.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have had mine on the car for over three years and no problems.

Thanks everyone for the help. And 05ls8, you definitely influenced my decision lol. Andrizzle, my dad owns an 09 F-150. His grille is plastic chrome and there were a few spots of corrosion in the corners. He is meticulous about his truck, but we couldn't figure out why it happened. I wouldn't think that plastic could have corroded especially when its that new lol
