Computer Still Resetting!?!?!

Ok so I worked out all the kinks in my Mark (Knock on wood!!)

I checked the charging system - all was good to go - Put a new Battery in with 850 CCA @ 0 degrees, 1000 at 32 Degrees.

Now Im just sitll having a problem with the default date going back to Jan 1 at 1 oclock every time I start the car - it also resets economy and range, blah blah - oil life is stuck at 47% but I cant figure out what is causing this problem. The Climate Control, seats, and radio all remember the settings but not the comp so I know its not losing power connection overnight.

When I bought the car all was ok with the comp I think, oil life was 49% and it went down to 47% after a day of driving back from its location - then at some point it just stopped working - same with the date/clock . I did go messing with some fuses trying to get the radio to work, but everything is still in where it belongs in the box.

Someone for the love of god help me

umm I didnt try that on OIL LIFE yet - i know on economy and what not it does.

The computer that controlls that has two power wires. One for acc on and one for memory. So its one of three problems.
One: The fuse is blown, it does have two. Does the stereo loose its memory too?
Two: There is a break in the wire harness or that one pin is loose/corroded.
Three: The computer is bad and for some reason can no longer retain its settings.

Im guessing its not "Three" since it was working one min, then stopped the next.

As for "One" Stereo holds its info... as for "two" I have no clue =/

I had a 98 that had the same problem. I replaced the module that the display actually comes up in, and that fixed mine. I think I paid 15 or 20 bucks for a used one on e-bay. I sure jamie probably would have one.

Besides the seat and the mirrors what else does the memory box remember? I know it's not called the memory box but I can't find the right name. SORRY!
