I'm not a flash guy as you know. BUT getting rims and tires someone paid 3404 dollars for makes me kinda like them! She will be getting all the speed parts off Red Dragon when I go for open class with Red.
 
Thanks! Yes I have been working him on price for a month now since I saw it was in my price range in the CL thread here. It was so cheap I felt like I was stealing it. This is why I bought the 1998 engine. It was suppose to have bad Headgasket. We drove it abit and as you see smoke show vids it never over heated! I have wanted to buy this for over 7 years! Mine mine mine. LOL

That would be my buddy Steve from across street that went with me to get car. He saved my butt when we got pulled over in CT going to car. Chatted up cop with Ex military stuff and trooper cut my ticket from 300 to 92. Thank you officer. It did some posi shots that one didn't. We pulled it off trailer put battery out of my conv stang she fired right up with 10 year old gas and sitting 10 years. Let run couple minutes and boiled the hides.

It would be interesting to see what is really up with the headgaskets, if anything at all. You should be able to go blast it down the highway for about 5 minutes and find out right away if it has any overheating issues.

Click on my vid in post 7! I will get dealer plate to run her some. I think after those smoke shows it should have overheated.

Thanks! You sold your Mk8? Didn't I sell you a pumkin? The hood is one of the main reason I bought car. Hood,paint,Factory Ford HIDS! and rims and tires where main buying points. The HIDS are freakin mint and BRIGHT.
 
Got brake lights, blinkers ,hazards,wipers and washer pump working. Programmed a remote. Swapping over the GT rims right now. The 18's must have some flat spots over the years,little rough.
 
God that is funny watching you point to your buddy to get over to the other side.
Did you get his crate engine also?

How big of a crowbar did you need to get your wallet to give up that kind of cash?

Sweet man! That car looks good..funny I just re read through his for sale ad the other day over on LOD..that paint does look good..worth saving it and spot repairing the front and rear bumper. Aren't those rims kinda trashed from moisture though? If theres anyone who should be able to diagnose something as simple as a had gasket it should be you..hopefully it doesn't turn out to be as much of a headache as sprocket's 96.
