actually the last of the best were the spring features, they were the very last 117 mark VIII's to roll off the assembly line before lincoln shut down production on the mark's. so if you want really rare, buy one of them, there is currently one on ebay!!

And it`s not to far from me. I haven`t bothered to check it yet, maybe this Sunday. Black looks the best, but I do like the gold because you never see it. That could explain why mine is red.

The bad:

headlights are very cloudy, need wetsanded and buffed
needs a HID bulb
chrome peeling on wheels
needs a blend door
drivers side heated seat doesnt work
rear neon broken
cup holder broken
needs a little paint on the drivers side 1/4
The car looks alot worse in person than in the pics

you'll get all of that with almost any 10 yur old mark...

sure, BUT FOR 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS, i sold my mint black 98 lsc for 5,200 and it didnt need anything what so ever, plus it had a sct tuner in it, 18 inch wheels, custom exhaust, and a killer stereo system i lost my shirt on it for what i had in it. this car needed a whole bunch of stuff and the price wasnt far off from what clean 2nd gens are going for.

a ten year old car does usually require some work. but when you factor in cost and lack of availability for parts its just not worth the asking price.

The owner was a hell of a guy. Im glad he got what he wanted for it, but Im also glad i wasn't the one that gave it to him.

When I drove the 96 over I almost had him convinced to keep it. Then he showed me the z06 and my car wasn't *hit. lol.

Thats funny!!!! The reason I brought my LSC was because I wanted a nice sports coup when i wasnt in my ZO6. It keeps me happy with what am driving.

I thought the Spring Editions were made right before the Collector's Editions were built.

I just bought a white Collector's Edition, it needs some work too, but I'm glad I bought it.:)
