coil on plug

Anyone change a '96 or older to the coil on plug set up? I'd like to know what it takes..

no the 93-96 models had coil packs and wires.

speaking of cleaner engine bays, what do you guys use to clean your bays, i used to use gunk - its cheap and it works very well, i havnt done it on a mark 8, i dont want to cause any problems

but im used to bagging up all the electrical stuff - i also saw this black magic stuff that they claim you dont have to bag anything? eghh lemme know what you use! real fresh engine bay!

Simple Green FTW!

I've found stronger cleaners attack the aluminum and give white powdery residue a few days after cleaning.

So what do you do if your valve cover is warped?

I heard rumor somebody had done the coil on plug conversion.. hmm.

Nobody?

As far as cleaning the engine bay, I just keep it clean. To freshen it up I use tire shine sparingly on a rag. Laugh at me if ya want, but it keeps everything looking shiny shiny new.
