I have been toying with many ideas over the past year or so, as everybody knows. Today i have set the foundation for the CobraMark'95 Project. Its gone from 5.2 Stroker naturally aspirated, to Turbo/TT on the stocker 4.6, Turbo on a built up 4.6. Building up the mark motor and supercharging it. Or a direct s/c Cobra swap. After researching each option extensivly and figguring out which would be most economical (price and timewise) for me, i have decided on a s/c Cobra swap. The whole motor i can buy from my local ford dealer for $3750+tax. that comes out 3k less than anything else iv priced out (just talking about the motor itself now). The scheduel for the project: By the end of august have the hood, wing, exhaust, gears, and paint.

September: bring home the Cobra motor, and start pulling the factory QC(quad cam)

That is as far as i want to predict as of now. This mark is going to be a wonderful project. If your in the area and you want to chip in some help when things start to realy heat up, i can make a killer grilled cheese :)

Today I set forth the goals, lets see how well i can hit them, shall we?

Are you kidding, of course i will. So many posts of pics it will make me look like your post pimp.

Good luck getting the 03-04 Cobra 4.6 DOHC complete motor for $3750 especially from dealer.

Do some more research buddy, most cost effective and least problematic will be forging your bottom end and using a vortech supercharger.

.Don't forget to take a picture of the LED lights you installed on the trunk.

gimme 5 min...
...go check my new thread.

I suggest you buy 5 of them while you're at it. This price is unheard of.

Did you look into using the EEC IV to control it ?

Mr. Wilson sold his Mark VIII and you can't buy an 03/04 Cobra engine new for that price or anywhere near that price...
