Ok so i have an Issue when the air is completly aired up in the front Im unable to turn lock to lock, due to the banjo bolt in the caliper digging into the air bag.

I think I found a fix. swaping over to cobra hubs and rotor and caliper.

since the M8 rotor is 10" and the Cobra rotor is 13" that will push the banjo bolt out of the way of the bag.

Now here is the question how would I mount the Cobra caliper. I have read on the markViii.org that a Silver Cobra Caliper from the Mach1 is a bolt on afair. Can anyone confirm this?

well I also need a solution for the rear.

I have sourced all the parts (sort of) but I would like to know if anyone has tried it and or has been sucessful doing it.

Sweet!! thanks for the info, I only need to change the fronts, the rears I can keep the stock rotor and caliper, I would need the Cobra hubs and redrill M8 rotors to fit the hubs. hmmm..

Fairly easy swap.

anyone know what the largest Rotor I can throw on the front with OEM parts?
Mach 1 rotors and calipers maybe?

you need cobra rotors, hubs, and calipers.

if youre redrilling anything its if you dont want to buy cobra hubs you have to redrill the cobra rotors to fit the mark hubs

I need to redrill the back for the Cobra hubs,

The math tells me to.
Cobra front disk=14.5" caliper profile3"
14.5+3=17.5" so my stock wheels wont go back on the front.
Plus the wheels I have are 5x4.5" so Im redrilling the rear discs to accept a 5x4.5 lug pattern since my stocks wont fit.

I have considered keeping the 5x4.25 but its too much of a hassle finding wheels I like in that lug pattern

Gimme a couple weeks and I'll be in the same mess you are......:)

I'll let ya know how it goes.

Mike

P.S. Thanks for the link Jeremi.

If you don't like the selections in the 4.25 lug pattern you're really going to swear when you can't find a 4.5 l/p wheel in the right offset to clear anything. Might want to research that with a fine tooth comb before you go swapping thinking you'll still be able to play w the air susp.

You can re-drill cobra brakes to fit the mark pattern, calipers bolt right on as long as you get the cobra caliper brackets..

the offset wont be too much of a hassle. the wheels I have now are 18x7.5 from a ranger. at 0 ffset if I add a 1.5" spacer thats +33 offset on a 9" wheel.

cobra rotors are only 13"
