Looking for a backup PCM, to identify what my existing part # is, the dealer asked for my coaltion #. I couldn't find it. Where should i look? What year PCM's can be used in my '96? (F6LF-12A650-AB)

Usually the calibration number is on a sticker on the door jamb or under the hood. I'd have to look on my cars to see if there is one or where it is to tell you the truth. I never paid much attention to them. I never had anyone ask either?

when I contacted the dealer to ask what PCM would be a replacement for my car, he asked for it, he also said it may be on the timing chain cover? I could, of course just look at my existing PCM..with the VIN he eventually said that I probably have a FLF6-12A650-AB PCM...I found a FLF6-12A650-AC, which supersedes mine, so it should work...it's just a backup....$75 ins policy

That's just the ford part number. Your calibration number is on the back lower side of the drivers door. The specific number depends upon what part of the country the vehicle was originally sold in.
