Im assuming 35 watt 5000k.. would i be correct?
closest to stock HID color temp?

Dude, you have 3 different threads about hids in the last 2 days. Next time just add the additional question to the already existing thread instead of making a new topic each time.
Stock was around 4300k, most that want a stock appearance setup usually go for 5000k. Just keep it @ 35w.

Yep^^. 55w 5000k is what I sell the most of, but I keep 4500k and 6000k bulbs on hand too.
I sell the full plug/play kits for $165 shipped, which includes the adapters, a pair of bulbs, and a pair of ballasts. I've also made the necessary modifications to allow the harness to plug right into the factory wiring harness, with brand new Ford plugs.
I could sell you a 35w kit as well, for $10 cheaper, but I don't keep those ones in stock, because no one ever wants them.

Also, has anyone ever tried using an aftermarket HID bulb on the factory ballast??

It's been tried, and didn't work well, IIRC. The factory ballasts are DC, while the aftermarkets convert to AC...

right. there is a host of reasons for why interchanging AC and DC ballasts and bulbs is not a good idea.
