I was on 95 when the check trans notice came up but the trans was still shifting fine then when I stopped after I got off the exit the car didn't want to go. I had to take it up to 3000 just to get it barely moving. Long story short I used my buddy's solus and it gives me these codes:
P0740 torque converter clutch fault
P0743 tcc system electrical fault
P0748 pressure control solenoid electrical
P0750 shift solenoid a fault
P0753 shift solenoid a electrical
P0755 shift solenoid b fault
P0758 shift solenoid b electrical
P0760 shift solenoid c fault
P0763 shift solenoid c electrical
P0765 shift solenoid d fault:q
P0768 shift solenoid d electrical
P0778 pc solenoid b electrical
P0798 pc solenoid c electrical
P0962 pressure control solenoid A. Control circuit low
P0966 pressure control solenoid b control circuit low
P0970 pressure control solenoid c control circuit low

My ls is a 03 3.9 btw. The solenoid pack which has the shift and pressure control in it is 240 at the dealer. Will replacing that alone solve my problem? What's that torque converter clutch code about? I'll check on Alldata tomorrow but I really appreciate any input and help you guys can throw my way thanks

I'm sorry I don't have an answer but was wondering even though you said your trans has been acting fine did you have any harsh engagement going from R to D? Or any other not so smooth shifts? Just wondering because this might be the outcome if I need the solenoid pack and put it off too long.. Perhaps you might need a new torque converter in addition to your solenoids.. Good luck.

Check the connector to the solenoid block first...I think it is suspicious that ALL of the solenoid codes popped up.

I agree. It's either that connector, a cut wiring harness, or the PCM. Of those choices, a loose connector is the most likely.

The normal failing solenoid issue wouldn't produce all of those electrical codes.

The Gen2 V6's do not have the message center to indicate "Check Transmission", will it just flash a Check engine light?

It won't flash, that's only for misfires. It will be on steady. Also, the gear indicator in the cluster would probably change to "E."

You guys were right we just got done replacing the solenoid body and it did not change anything. I spoke to my electronics specialist and he said that the ecu gives ground to the solenoids and that I should have checked for power at the connector. I just wasted my time putting the pan back up and filling it. What do I? Do I waste more time and money fixing this car? Do I buy a Chrysler 300?
