You won't loose anything that you feel right now, they seem to ride the same from first installed till now and its been over 3 years.
About tires, I have 245/45/18 rear and some of my buddies think that it's too much rubber on the sides, but I had 245/40/18 on the rears before and I would always have to worry about driveways and speed bumps. Now I have 235/45/18 in the front, switched from 225/45/18 and now the front end is high enough to clear alot more driveways and speed bumps. I hate that bone chilling sound it used to make when the bottom of the car would scrap on something. I would rather be comfortableand have piece of mind than it looking better by the having shorter sidewalls and it really is not that much of difference.
