I took out my Sprint Springs this weekend and installed Eibach's. The difference is 3/4" higher in the front, and 1/2 inch higher in the rear. So far I am happy, I needed to get the car higher as I switched tire size, went from a 245/40 18 Nitto 555's to a 245/45 18 Nitto Invo's. With the taller tire was enough to have the tires scrapping in the wheel wells a lot, now I have to hit a pretty big dip to hit. With the taller tire and the Eibachs I have gained ground clearance too which is good here in NY. The tires so far are pretty good too, I say wet traction did not loose anything, maybe better, these Invo's are really quiet, dont here them at all.

Now, anyone looking for Sprint Springs???? I got em :)

Not bad, would look better with some nice black Stern ST-1's...

Wait a second...you bought the entire grille or just the center section?

Don't answer that - I'll call you tomorrow if I have time at work:D

Looks great, the springs will settle a little with about 2 weeks of driving. Then it will look really good.

I liked the Sprints better:( but just cause they go lower:D

Whats the width of those wheels again? My buddy has that tire and that size on his RX7 and the tire dont look like that at all with a 17x8.5 wheel. Im sure you wanted more meat for cushion but in pics at least they kind of look funny. They remind me of 18 wheeler inter tubes for tubing down the river:D . * no offense!

My wheels are 8 1/2, I am not sure the offset because I got them used and there are no offset markings if I remember right. These tires do look bare on the sidewall, they are kind of plain. I liked the way the car looked lower also and with the 245/40's but here in NY that gets old.

I hear that. I figured that was your reasoning.

thats funny, I'm getting ready to switch to eibachs from the intrax I have on... I've been meaning to do it for a while, but the wedding plans consumed most my time.

Looks good! I dont like the look of the tires though i know they are supposed to grip pretty good

The tires might look better with less sidewall, but I dont care, want to be able to drive the car without getting agrevated

i actually think you hit the nail on the head when you said they are just plain.... no nothing on the sides
