I got a burgandy CE wit 123k for $800 interior two tone grey. It has all options except phone...... Car has been abused ...... I have some really good interior parts from my local sitting around home that im gonna swap. Body is in pretty good shape as for under the hood....
under the engine cap looks milky, I found a little coolant in 3 of the ports on the passenger side. white smoke out the exhaust pipes..Motor seems to be trashed....

Pics pics pics are coming

It starts up really really rough like it has a bad IAC I swaped it out and no change. I took all the cop's out cleaned them up put a lil die electric grease on them it got a lil better. Im looking into pulling the motor

Normally I call a CE nothing special. But when you get into the low number, or the last few, they do hit that special collectable factor. Very nice and good luck with the project.

Yea I found this one in Philadelphia the previous owner knew nothing bout the car. He had it from 114k til 123k he really abused it. The interior looks nasty I clean it up pretty good today The body is in good shape minus the clear coat peeling on the front bumper. I went and grabbed a bumper, grill, and tag holder today. Im waiting on my homeboy to send the pics we took earlier.

I thought I read somewhere that the collector's edition car's were just numbered at random and not in any particular order. Does anyone know for sure. Just curious.

that is correct. they were not numbered in the order they were produced, so its not necessarily the 8th ce made. its still cool thats its a low number as far as i am concerned.

What will be rare is a modified mark that will be sold and been here on lvc for awhile like laser in ten years

I think what he is trying to say is. Seem like ce have become a dime a dozen nowaday. They are like 97 lsc find easy to find and a lot more guy are buying them. Try finding a 96 lsc and that is a better keeper then a ce.
