I know exactly how you feel. I did the same thing about three years ago. Followed a friend to a strip club and we parked in the back. I think I got out the car and was talking not paying attention as to if I locked my doors or listened for the chirp. Came out and was on my way home and kept hearing the wind whistle inside the car. Once I got home, I noticed my back door was ajar then I started searching the car and my pistol was gone. I had just bought my first Avic and had the dash torn out so there wasn't anything for them to take. I make it a habit not to leave nothing inside my car. I keep it looking like it came off the lot most of the time. No papers, bags or nothing. I put everything in the trunk especially if out and about. Sorry for your lost man. I know how it feels to replace stuff you already had. I hate that.
