Got this stuff at WalMart, $3-$4 a can... and a little scrub brush, minimal efforts .. this was cleaned in about 5 minutes. Sure more cleaning could be done, but those were cigarette ash stains mixed with years of neglect..
Now go clean those Marks!!!!! :)

Not bad. I've got a Bissell steam cleaner and last time I did the carpet on my Mark the water in the canister came out black. It was horrible. I have to do it again soon. And I can't wait to steam clean the Exploder:eek: It's gonna be fun.

I really like what you did there dude. I hate having stains in my carpet. Drives me nuts. Good job.

... but, personally after stripping a couple interiors to replace rugs & seats, I would just pull that whole rug out & do it the right way. This way it's uniform all around. Nice good ol' big brush, that very same stain remover + degreaser & hose it down. Leave it a couple days out under the sun to dry out, sprinkle some of that carpet powder, vacuum it & VOILA new rug! I'm planning on doing that to my prairie tan very soon.

This was in a flip car... I'm not pulling the entire carpet out of every car we sell.. this was just to show how well that product worked, nothing more ;)

I've always had good luck with the Blue Coral brand of upholstery cleaners as well. but nothing beats having a friend who owns an upholstery cleaning business with a steam cleaner that takes up an entire ford econoline van.

This car I just cleaned had a pens ink well busted in the back floor board.. all gone

Ill try a spot tomorrow. I like the turtle brand too, Turtle has a nice smell and is great large area light dirt. This stuff is simply brilliant on hard stains, even red dye

what is the brand name? i cant read it on my screen

Sapper, please tell me there was a flash difference in the pics because when I look at the stained pic, the carpet around the stain appears to be a very light color but after the cleaning, which does look much better, it seems that all of the carpet has now changed to a darker color. Am I making any sense? It's like the big stain was just smeared and the color of the carpet really isn't what it was meant to be. :shifty:
