Just got off the phone with Max, my gear swap kit should be here by Friday. Dropping the car off Sunday morning to gear my 4.10's installed. I might even have to start a progress thread, like some of the other guys here...even though I don't have a lot done just yet.

Should be picking up my one piece driveshaft this week too. Sunday afternoon is going to be a lot of fun.

So by next week I should have all the following installed.
-Slotted/cross drilled rotors, already done
-SCT tune, already is done
-J-mod, trans service, likely do it this weekend
-4.10's, trak-lok, one piece shaft Sunday

Should have had wheels too, but I got screwed on the deal, and fighting to get my money back.

Sorry to hear about the wheels, but I'm sure you'll have a smile on your face after the gears are done and you drive it! How much did the gear swap kit and trak-lok set you back total?

From Max, I spent a total of like $115, and that includes shipping. That is all the bearings, correct speedo gear, and a bottle of friction modifier.

Trac-lok I got off one of my Mustang sites from a cobra with low miles for $50. Gear I bought from a local guy for $75, and they are brand new, never installed. He decided he wanted 4.30's instead.

So far I have about $240 into my gear swap.

Nice, im also in the process of doing the same. Doing the JMOD thursday, and Getting 4.10's, aftermarket DS, and some more goodies shortly after.

Cant wait.

I am in mine about the exact same cost wise. I also go Sunday (I hope, damn youz Jeff! :p ) to get mine installed. Ill be helping him do it though and while hes setting up the gears I will be installing the 255lph pump. Pretty sure mine is dying. :(

I wanted to do a pump too at the same time, but had a great deal on a set of wheels pop up. That sure bit me in the ass nice and hard.

Since you are there you may as well do it. Pumps are cheap.

True. I have a boost a pump, I was going to run. Only ran it for about a week on my bird. So it's virtually new. Wonder if it would help take some of the load off the pump.
