If I block off the EGR can I wire it looped so that it does not throw a code? I have replaced all things related to my EGR and I still get the code and I NEED TO PASS EMISSIONS.

you can remove the electrical connector and plug the vacuum line - then remove the EGR and replace it with a blocking plate (and plug off the exhaust manifold tube).

It will throw a code complaining the EGR is not working correctly - unless...

You then use the SCT software to tell the car it does not have a EGR. This will prevent it from throwing a code - however - it will say EGR 'not ready' since there is no longer an EGR to test. No way around that I know of.

In Texas - prior to 10/08 you were allowed two sensors in 'not ready' - so EGR was one of mine.... now you can only have one sensor..

So - depending on your state - you may be able to 'remove' the EGR and still pass - as long as they only read the ODBII codes.

I think it will show a 'Not Ready' code then..

I remembered reading somewhere what you just said. I tried to save you the trouble.. :)

yeah - wasn't trying to one-up you, just stating that if all he does is loop the connector it will throw a code - he actually has to 'remove' the sensor form the PCM as well.

If you can get a tuner to turn off the PO 400 and PO 403 diagnostic tests but leave the "does error set SES" to on the EGR monitor will probably read ready immediately when you turn it on.
You can do the same to the other monitors- turn them off but leave the reporting on and the ecm will read ready without having to drive more than 50 miles.
When I had my camaro I could do this in LT1 edit which is a tuner level program.
