buying another viii

UPDATE lol

driving car today...a warmer day then what we have been having lately about 37 degrees F....and after about 5minutes of driving headgaskets called it a day and white smoke decided to start pouring out of exhaust...so unless i find a engine with low miles for $400 or less....i think this poor car is gonna meet its maker...

but atleast i still have my 1998 BOB lsc that im going to go get out of storage tonight to make me feel better and alot of the little things that are wrong with my '98 this '97 will be able to provide for it...guess we will see what happens
 
A $400 parts car is still a score.. use what you need, sell what you don't, then scrap the frame.. bet you'll still see a profit if you can strip it
 
see what happens...i have a motor but was gonna put it in my '98 mustang gt...thinkin ill just put a 2v back in stang and use my spare engine in this 97

but it has a grey interior which kind of sucks...and I need front seats to complete the ebony interior I have
 
If you can store the parts and sell them 1 at a time. You can easily make your money back and have lots of extra parts to keep your car going for a long time
 
I was looking on car-part.com and there is a 68,000 mile engine here in Virginia for $550. Probably too far for you though.
