Button cluster in dash loose? Help!

Even weirder, thought they're the same.

I think I might have an extra w/ buttons. I told a buddy I needed one among many parts and if he came across them to get them. I also ordered one the next day since every LS i see has this part stripped. He told me he got some parts for me at lunch today but didn't specify which ones. I'll let you know if he got that one when I get home.

If my new air vent assembly comes with the buttons (which I guess it will) I will also have an extra set of buttons.

As is the norm around here, Joe is correct. The new dash vent assembly comes with the buttons. The new vent is in the garage as I type with JB Weld setting-up around the mounting "posts".
