Was the 96 really that much of a pain in the @ss?

First year of OBD2 and the IMRC controllers always went bad and turned on a cell light. In NJ that means instant fail at inspection

Yeh, that's what I was saying. You can see from one of the pictures of it that it was in a climate-controlled building even parked on CARPET!

Ok, now who in the world is the dumb@ss that would pay that much for a 96? I would pay half that but only for a 98 LSC with that mileage.

Where are you going to find another one? Sometimes people are willing to pay for unique cars if they have the money.

I saw that earlier. Just goes to show you some people think every car is a collectors item.

Maybe not every car, maybe just a collector of mark viii's.
Hell if i had the $$$ and could find a 1997 mountaineer for that price with that milage id buy it in a heartbeat, it may not be a wise choice financial seeing as how they pop up around my area all the time with 70-80k on them for 3-4k but its what id want.
