So I have 2 12" MTX 9500's I'm going to be putting in my LS. I'm just wondering if someone has had subs similar to this and what were the dimensions of your box? I'm looking to buy a sealed box to fit, but most are just a bit to big for the back of the trunk. So I'll probably have to construct one myself. When I measure I was looking about 30" L x 12-14" H, top and bottom depth can be whatever, as long as I can fit the sub's massive moutning depth of 9.75". Picture of box and dimensions would be greatly apprciated.

Thanks for the info, but I already have all of that. My question is what dimension of box can I fit in the LS??? I'd like to see some pictures of other LS custom boxes.

Do you have the rear shelf unit with the 6x9's and all that junk underneath?

6x8's in doors, 6x9 "subs" in the rear shelf. I don't have that in the rear shelf, so unfortunately I won't be much help.

On a separate note, what are you using to power both of those?

Are you sure they're 6x9's when I removed the shelf out of my car they looked like 6x8's. Also if you look at crutchfield and other audio sites they have 6x8 listed for the rear shelf. I'm not trying to pick a fight just trying to figure out the truth.

I had a box for 2 10" JL 10w6v2 that was 32x12x12 that fit pretty well.

I am rebuilding everything right now, removed the rear "subs" and the box will fit flush up aginst the rear seat opening and be about 18" deep on the bottom, 30" wide and 16" tall at the back with a small drop towards the front to fit under the torson bars.

I'm going to use my old trusty MTX 81000D, thought about buying a new MTX Amp, but this one is the :q:q:q:q. It still puts out around 1600RMS @2ohms with 14.4volts. I've had it for like 6 years in my truck powering all sorts of different subs, including a RFL152 competition sub. I'm going to eventually build a fiberglass enclosure for my car and truck, but for right now I just want something to get by with.

I honestly have never actually seen them, so I could be wrong. Almost every other discussion on here has those stock (Alpine system) rear deck speakers as 6x9's.
