well as you all know i have a 95 lincoln mk Viii. (just hit 61,XXX miles) today, i went down and picked up a second mk Viii same color. just a different interior color. needs a VCRM and brake work. the car was built 6/95 so its one of the last ones made not that it matters any, and needs a complete rebuild.

any ideas on what i should do to this beast?

car has 205,XXX miles on it, brand new suspension front and rear. bags, control arms the whole shebang.

champagne on saddle. also came with the window sticker!

i payed $700 for it. :D snuck away with it. how much for that VCRM. and how quick can you get it to virginia?

i was waiting for it. the funny part was the the rear wheels where on right, the front was backwards. i told him that and he though i was crazy LOL.

If what you say is true about the air ride all new with new bags and all, then why is the rear deflated in the pics?

Make a Nascar Mark VIII out of her...that would be one of the coolest Mark's ever.

i did that with a jack lol. i wanted to make sure the air compressor worked. i lowered the front then the rear in this photo the front is just getting pumped up. :) i guess i should have waited to take photos, but i took them before i got carried away playing with it :D lol it looked funny because on the way home it was in 4x4! LOL maybe ill get one of those adjustable things ashem i think it what there called

ok, how do i get the VCRM out? i was looking at it and there is a bolt under the radiator. do i have to remove the radiator to remove the VCRM? thanks,

LOL, your welcome! i was thinking about getting a set for my car. but it seems like a bad idea.

well after a weekend of being sick, i stayed home today and got some work done on both the MK's. removed the resonator under the airbox, and also capped off the one over the intake. one the second Mk i removed the resonator over the intake. but didnt remove the other one.

I like that paint color... However first thing I would do would be find a donor with a black interior.

i want to find a donor with an ivory interior. but thats the least of my worries. i need to get it running first. and stopping. LOL. we broke a brake line getting the car off the jerry dan.

excellent find for 700 bucks!
looks pretty good for 203k miles as well. not bad at all.

yea, its quite clean for 203K on her. she was well taken care of. i think where going to put a new motor and trans in her soon. waiting for a VCRM and a battery. hopefully she will start right up.

I have some nearly new tires with only a few thousand miles on them, you can have them for $75 and I am local. I have to have them removed from the Octi's they are on. I went with 18's. I was just getting ready to post them on CL for $125.
