About 2 months ago I bought this collectors edition. I was in the middle of working on my son's car so it hasn't got any attention yet. I buy and sell so many Mark VIII's I normally don't post pics of them all, but since this was a CE thought I would share. 1st ce that I've ever had. #0437. It obviously needs paint and an engine. Not sure if I'm going to keep it for my self or not. Couldn't let another one get crushed.

Needs paint? Looks to me that it just needs a few hours of polishing!
As long as the clear coat is still there the paint can be saved pretty easily :) Give it a try!

how much you get it for.

$800. Has a brand new coil spring setup on it, drilled and slotted rotors front and rear. 129,000 miles couldn't pass it up. Plus I have a wrecked 98 with identical miles with a good engine and trans. The trans in this ce was supposedly rebuilt 1000 miles ago. I haven't even moved it from where it's at since I got it. Probably gonna pull the other engine and trans this weekend.

That's a good lookin car dude. Glad you get these things and save em/part em to help others

Actually..it looks kinda cool with the faded clearcoat..looks like it's intentionally painted matte cordovan.

ok then i know i can get what out of my broken C.E. then.
ive actually thought of painting my mattee cordovan, if it can be be done in black why not cordovan.

Pulled the engine/trans out of the wrecked 98 today. Engine is going in the CE. Trans is going to be sold, if anyone wants it. $200 No I will not ship it. 130,000 miles. Also pulled the whole rear sub frame out.

I think that car would look better with the silver-painted rims instead of those chrome ones. I'd be happy to swap mine with yours! :D

Wow. That's a nice one. Not sure about the price. I know I couldn't afford it, but could possibly be worth it if it is everything they say.

getting a Mark with 7300k on it would be nice

Not if you are going to drive it more than 10-15 miles p/month. Dry rotted lines & seals are just as bad as a 200,000 mile car. Only way that car is as good as as new is if the garage had good 'ol air conditioning in it in the summer & heating in the winter to maintain the car under nice room temperature & even then, 15 years are 15 years no matter how you look at it. Like I said in my other post. That's a car to drive once p/month. That's it. Definitely a collector piece indeed.
