It does not seem as strong as I recall. It is just a direct wire type thing or does it used the VRCM or anything crazy?

Yes, the connection is good by the way. It was bad long ago and got it fixed. Never cuts out, etc. Just seems weak.

blower motor module might be bad, or the blower motor itself could be ready to quit, try hooking 12 volts right to it and see how high it spins, if it spins real high, you may need a blower module.
