Black wheels?

Okk so I need 2 tires really bad so I was looking around for just a pair if I could, to get by until I can replace them all. I have the gen 1 5 spoke 17 wheels in chrome at the moment, pretty good chape but starting to show signs of wear.

ANYWAY I found someone selling a set of the same wheels but not chrome with a nearly perfect set of tires on them for 150. I figure this would get my by until I can either get new tires or new wheels and tires. BUt I was wondeing what they would look like all gloss black or gloss black with a silver lip. I have a black car btw. If anyone has a LS with these wheels in black (seen a few with gun metal) I would like to see some pics before I pull the trigger.

Black wheels on a black car makes the wheels look smaller than they are thus needing a bigger wheel to achieve the same look as you would need with a chrome rim. Don't get me wrong, I like black wheels and personally have a set on my LS, but my car is silver. So a black 17" wheel on a black car would look like a 15" wheel. Buy the black 20's from Sancho. He only wants like $400 for everything. Nice looking wheels.

I have black 18's and they look small
 
I dont doubt it will give the illusion the wheels are smaller than they are but I was trying to get a feel for how it would look instead of the kind of boaring silver...
 
hey I was just showin himsome wheels to get hahaha and if you type that in on google and click shopping you can find them for 114 and some change free shipping but its all good get 20 its not my car 19s would be the biggest i would go

Dnyce used to have black 20's (I'm pretty sure they were 20's) search for pics of his car. It will show you exactly what black 20's On a black ls look

No I just like to try and help out fellow LVC members. Sancho needs the rims sold, has a good price on them, and they already have tires. The O.P. is looking to get some black wheels so I thought I would help him out. Sorry, guess it's because I am a marketing major that makes me push things that aren't mine to sell.
 
Thanks for the suggestions but I am just looking to see what the stock wheels would look like in black on a black car. I would like to get rims at some point but I am not there yet.

ok well then here is some advice I saw on here some one painted there stock rims the ones that i pictured here they looked like they ran in the tire if that makes sense now i was thinkin about painting mine black but said screw it im gonna get some bigger rims but when I thought about painting them i was gonna try the black chrome paint set up that you can find at some auto store o'reilys for sure but what you choose dont let ppl put you off to the idea if you want to do it do you son

and also here check this they are painted dark grey but its darker than the stock color so maybe it might give you a better idea
