99-04 Cobra aftermarket Tokico HP shocks for the rear?

Which is better or are they close? Both are designed for lowering springs.

Get Koni's while you still can...

I really should... arrgh, I'm putting myself in a time crunch to get this done to get to the first track outing, but maybe I should just say screw it, I won't be ready right away and just get the Konis. It is somewhat of a money issue at this point, but I'd rather spend the extra to get the best "drag-friendly" setup on springs. I don't want a daily driver setup because I'm going to drive it daily anyways. At the track is really where it counts for me. If I don't run low 13s, I've stuck my foot in my mouth.

Not much, maybe $70 difference. I should just say screw it and get the Konis. The adjustability feature on the Konis is what grabs me over the Bilsteins. If I am going to be fighting to get my 60' times down, I think the Konis are going to take the cake there.

I paid like $50 for a set of 30K mine Bilstiens.

If I came across a deal like that I would get them, but I'm not seeing deals like that on the Bilsteins anywhere. The last clown on ebay wanted $160 shipped for a used set and I've seen them new for $190 with free shippng. Sometimes I don't understand where these ebay sellers are coming from, but it sure isn't planet EARTH.

Koni adjustable?

Well, the two people that have suggested Koni's in this thread are both quicker than you at the track.

True, I was running on cheap chitty Arnotts from Autozone. :p

Ok, Konis it is. I'll check with that ebay seller. There, I'm listening!

Check Tire Rack (I updated my post above), I found a better deal for you. :)

thats obviosly not a rear on the pic, but it says rear shock so its a generic pic, then it says to look for compatability chart that i cant find. ive got the am air, but its sloppy would like to get good stiff springs, what should i use as reference that will fit the strut i have?

If you're asking me, then take a breath and ask a question that I can understand.

Don't hesitate, or you'll miss out!

im not sure i understand. if i have coil overs and want to buy springs, when they ask what vehicle i cant say mark viii , so what do i use with american air conversion? is that what thunderbirds have coil overs, i dont know? and tire rack has bilsteins cheap.

That last comment that you quoted wasn't directed at you.

I can't help you with the AA conversion setup, as I've never seen it. I don't know if the front shocks in that kit will accept T-Bird springs. They probably will, but I don't know it for a fact.
